The Federal Government of Nigeria and China have signed an agreement to check the influx of sub-standard goods into Nigeria.

Alhaji Idris Waziri, Chairman, National Organising Committee for the first Nigeria-China Trade and Investment Forum, said "the quality of sub-standard goods that Nigerians go to buy in China will be improved upon and also produced here in the country and in good quality," he said.
